- I envision schools as centres of excellence where the curriculum is designed to give students multiple platforms of learning and to hone their collaborative and team spirit so that they emerge as beacons of light to dispel the darkness in the society through their education. It is said “If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day…if you teach him to fish, you feed him for many years.” Likewise schools should not aim only to provide mere literacy, which is short term, rather prepare them to continuously undertake leadership roles in any situation.
- It is with pleasure that I note in the three decades since its inception our school has been successfully progressing on its mission of providing quality education to children from the community and preparing them as fully rounded citizens with capability to serve the society in different capacities. Children who walk the portals of this school are taught to strive for excellence in all walks of life to develop a viewpoint that is long term inclusive, which is visible in the ease with which our students have taken on higher responsibilities in all walks of life and the respect that its faculty and staff command in the society.
- Due to the prevailing global pandemic, the school’s faculty has successfully restructured the conventional method of instruction to suit the online mode. The challenges thrown by the lockdown and the need for physical distancing has been turned around as opportunities by the school to develop unique ways to reach out to its students and ensure that the children gain as much education as they would have in a non-pandemic situation.
